Seki will manage relationships, strategy, sales and marketing for key clients and retail accounts in Japan

In this newly formed position based in Tokyo, Seki will act as The Orchard’s industry representative in Japan, managing relationships with local artists, labels and retailers. With this new role, The Orchard expands its global presence and opens doors to opportunities in this key Asian market. Seki will report to The Orchard’s Vice President of Global Business Development, Tom Wheeley.

Seki has over 25 years of experience in the Japanese music and entertainment business, with a background in recorded music, broadcasting, licensing, publishing and management. Previous to The Orchard, Seki has worked with leading entertainment companies such as YUI Music Factory, For Life Music Entertainment, MTV, Sony, Marvel Entertainment, Omnifone, LINE and more.
