THE ORCHARD SIGNS LEGENDARY DIONNE WARWICK TO RELEASE “NOW” ON NOVEMBER 6th, 2012
Dionne is Joined by Phil Ramone, Burt Bacharach and Friends to Celebrate 50 Years of Making Music
New York, NY — October 24, 2012 — The Orchard, pioneers of global music distribution, will release Dionne Warwick’s latest album NOW through Blue Horizon, the legendary blues label founded by Richard Gottehrer and Seymour Stein and managed directly by The Orchard. Few artists can claim the monumental legacy that Dionne Warwick has built, and on November 6th, her chart-topping and Grammy-winning music will be commemorated and celebrated with NOW.

NOW is produced by Phil Ramone and features material written by Warwick’s longtime friend and fellow music icon, Burt Bacharach. Bacharach is no stranger to joining Warwick creatively. The pair have joined forces on such hits as “That's What Friends Are For” and “Walk On By” since Bacharach and Hal David discovered Warwick in 1961. This new record pays tribute to the classic sounds of Warwick's vast career with songs such as “Are You There (With Another Girl)” and “I Say A Little Prayer,” the latter of which was re-recorded as a duet with her son David Elliott. The collection also features four new original Bacharach and David songs never before recorded by Warwick, including “Love Is Still the Answer” and “99 Miles to LA.”
