classical vocalists who will make a mark in the 21st
century" by legendary Hindustani vocalist Bhimsen

Soulive, Live in NYC (July 2004)
– Jazz (Pirate Records)
When a band becomes well-known for its danceable, organ-driven
instrumental groove-jazz, it also becomes a magnet for
top-notch vocalists looking for a smokin' backing band.
So naturally, Soulive was thrilled
when both Ivan Neville and Chaka
Khan hopped onstage during a Knitting Factory
set in Los Angeles last month for several renditions
of Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder tunes. Catch Soulive's
New York and Massachusettes gigs this month - you never
know who will drop in! Visit www.soulive.com
for tour dates.
