Allmusic describes "You Can't Fool Me Dennis" [video] as "an early, Barry Andrews-era XTC song as covered by Franz Ferdinand." Zootime is a US-only introduction to this buzz band from London's Eel Pie Island. It collects the best tracks from their 2006 debut album Making Dens [WEA, #32 UK] and the EP Flotsam & Jetsam, adding new material and remixes from London DJ Erol Alkan [Franz Ferdinand, Hot Chip] and Simian Mobile Disco founder James Ford [Klaxons, Arctic Monkeys]. BBC.co.uk describes Mystery Jets as "orchestral in structure, with each tune a pocket symphony." Last week, Pitchfork reported on their N. American tour, launching 28 May. Visit the band's blog for tour stories, videos, and mustard recommendations. Also Available: Diamonds In The Dark single, which reached #47 on UK charts in '06.
